Dagestani powerlifting team has won three medals at the North Caucasian Men's Powerlifting Championship held in Nalchik. Viktor Koltyshev from Derbent won the gold medal in the 105 kg category. Magomedtagir Alibulatov from Izberbash took the silver in the 93 kg category. Ali Zugumov completed the podium in the 105 category. All Dagestani medalists have qualified for the Russian Powerlifting Championships, which will take place in Murmansk on June 16 - 23 next year.
