Ibragimov, a wrestler from Dagestan, won a gold medal in the freestyle wrestling competition among juniors aged 23 years and under in Baku, Azerbaijan. He was the best wrestler in his weight class up to 65 kilograms, defeating the representative of France, Khamzat Arsamerzuev, with a score of 6-2 in the final. It is worth noting that Ibragimov has previously won the World Youth Championship and the champion of Russia and the CIS Games.
