Yesterday, November 29, Dagestan Sand Running Championship "Resort Run" has been held on the central beach of Makhachkala, attracting enthusiasts of a healthy lifestyle. Despite the challenging windy conditions, the participants completed 10 rounds around the beach, demonstrating remarkable achievements. Among those aged over 55 years, Gousein Labazanov emerged victorious, setting a new personal best time.

It is worth noting that Labazanov faced illness and received a short-term prognosis from doctors. However, he remains active and continues to break records, defying the predictions of those who initially believed his life would be short.
Additionally, another participant, Murad Islamov, triumphed in the overall competition, also establishing a new personal record.
