The process of preparing seedlings for spring planting is underway in the Republic of Dagestan as part of the target program "Save the Forest" under the national project "Ecology".

The employees of the State Budgetary Institution «Republican Forests» have already transplanted 7 thousand acacia seedlings in the nursery of Dagleskhoz, located in the village of Gerga in Kayakentsky municipal district. By the end of the week, it is planned to transplant another 6 thousand seedlings. For excavation work, special equipment acquired under the project «Ecology» was used.

The seedlings cultivated in the nursery have a well-developed root system and are fully prepared for transplanting. In the spring, the planting material will be distributed among the forestry departments of the republic.
