On July 1, 2024 the loan portfolio of enterprises and entrepreneurs in the region reached almost RUB 40 billion. According to the National Bank of Dagestan, this is 21.4% more than a year earlier. For instance, liabilities to banks for loans provided to small and medium-sized businesses increased by almost 1.5 times in annual terms and amounted to over 17 billion rubles at the beginning of July 2024.
