In December 2024, the aircraft designed by JSC Kizlyar Electromechanical Plant received an airworthiness certificate.

According to Nizam Khalilov, the Minister of Industry and Trade of Dagestan, this is a product of domestic development (in collaboration with major state corporations), a versatile four-seater twin-engine MAI-411 «Alpha-KM» aircraft constructed from composite materials. Simultaneously, a similar certification was granted for the five-seater multi-purpose helicopter AP-55.

Notably, the MAI-411 aircraft developed by Dagestan boasts several innovative features. As reported by the company press service, it incorporates fuel injection engines and features an autopilot system. Operating on 95 octane gasoline, the aircraft has an estimated fuel consumption of 25–30 litres per hour of flight. This allows it to cover up to 1,600 kilometers on a single fuel tank.
