It is planned to establish a railway link fr om Makhachkala Airport to a resort currently under construction on the Caspian coast. The project is being implemented by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

According to federal officials, this direct railway service will allow tourists, guests and residents of the region to easily access the resort in the upcoming coastal cluster, which will include more than 20 hotels, a children's health center and other recreational amenities.

The project aims to provide easy access to the resort through various modes of transportation, including the establishment of a transport hub near the Dagestan Ogni railway station, wh ere passengers can transfer to the Caspian coastal cluster.
