The authorities of the Republic of Dagestan report on a remarkable increase of 27.5% in the number of accommodations available for tourists and visitors in 2024, rising from 611 units to 779.

Simultaneously, in accordance with the statistics provided by the regional Ministry of Tourism, a total of 568 new job positions were created within these newly established facilities. Noteworthy, over the course of three years, the ministry actively supported 96 projects under the state target "Tourism" program, with a cumulative investment exceeding RUB 1 billion while also attracting RUB 1.5 billion from the extrabudgetary sources.

This comprehensive effort yielded tangible results, including the construction of 10 new tourist bases, the establishment of three rental equipment centers, improvements to beach areas, the opening of a café and the acquisition of equipment to enhance service offerings.
