The price growth in Dagestan over a four-month period in 2024 exceeded the values recorded in the previous year. The inflation rate for the same period in Dagestan amounted to 3.9%, compared to 3% in January-April of the previous year. This indicates an increase in prices during the given period. Within the food product segment, the largest increase was observed for meat and poultry, at approximately 2.9%. Similarly, pasta saw an increase of 2.3%. On the other hand, dairy products experienced a slight decrease (0.3%) and eggs also saw a decline of 2.7% on average.
