The average check for jewelry purchases has increased in almost all regions since the beginning of 2024. Dagestan has been leading this indicator, with an average purchase value of almost 15 thousand rubles, according to Sokolov Jewelry Holding data.

At the end of the first quarter of 2024, the total value of the Russian jewelry market reached RUB 106.5 billion in monetary terms, an increase of 32.8% compared to the same period of the last year, according to countrywide data.

Traditionally, Moscow and St. Petersburg lead in terms of jewelry market volume, with Moscow residents spending 17.9 billion rubles (+24%) and St. Petersburg residents spending 6.1 billion rubles (+28%) on jewelry during the first quarter this year. Ekaterinburg came in third place, with spending growing by 39% to 1.79 billion rubles.
