Red Wings Airlines has expanded the network of passenger routes from Makhachkala airport. According to the company's press release, the updated flight schedule includes 15 new routes from Makhachkala.

It is now possible to fly from Dagestan to Almaty, Astana, Barnaul, Kazan, Kemerovo, Nizhnevartovsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novokuznetsk, Novy Urengoy, Omsk, Samara, Saratov, Surgut, Tomsk and Ufa with a transfer in Ekaterinburg.

Transfer flights from Makhachkala and Vladikavkaz through Ekaterinburg reduce travel time by up to 1.6 - 4.6 times when compared to flights with a stopover in Moscow.
