Russia's largest company plans to launch sea cruises to Makhachkala

Russian cruise line and river cruise operator Vodokhod's plans to launch three new passenger ships that will sail to the seaport of Makhachkala. According to representatives of the Federal Agency for Sea and Inland Water Transport, the company intends to implement these plans in stages till 2026.

In the future, the company is also considering to organize international cruises to friendly countries in the Caspian region. "Vodokhod" is the largest Russian shipping company in number of units of the operated cruise fleet and passenger traffic, the tourist operator of the Russian Federation. The fleet of the company and its subsidiaries in 2024 includes 26 cruise ships, 37 vessels of small fleet.
