Yusup Umavov meets with representatives of Turkish construction Company
Makhachkala, October 15, 2015. Yesterday, October 14, the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investments of the Republic of Dagestan Yusup Umavov met with the representatives of the Turkish construction company "Başak Insaat" in Makhachkala, the Ministry press service informs.
The president of "Başak Insaat" Akky Gul, the director of furniture manufacturing company “EMOHOME” Ali Shen, the architects Mustafa Keeper, Seat Karayunli, Palin Karayunli, Savate Rakychs and others spoke about the purpose of their visit to Dagestan. "We want to get familiarized with the country, study the situation, consider the investment attractiveness of the region", - said Gul Akky.
Minister Yusup Umavov briefed the guests about the investment potential of the region. "The investment portfolio consists of 57 projects worth 197 billion rubles, and more than 100 investment proposals worth more than 200 billion rubles. 30 of them gained the status of priority investment projects of the republic of Dagestan. For two years, the republic has been implementing more than 18 investment projects to the amount of attracted private investment of 21 billion and created more than 5.5 thousand jobs "- Umavov said.
The Turkish party expressed gratitude for the hospitality. Akky Gul expressed confidence in great prospects in the construction industry of the republic and expressed willingness to consider the participation of "Başak Insaat" in the implementation of investment projects in Dagestan.
"We feel stability in Dagestan. The local authorities achieved a lot in recent years and this is obvious. Many new beautiful houses are constructed everywhere across the republic and people are very friendly. We are interested in cooperation with Dagestan in the tourism, health resort and hospitality areas. We hope for support from the leadership of the republic", - A. Gul said.
The investors submitted projects and informed about their business experience in Russia, particularly in Moscow. The meeting participants also touched upon the issue of construction of a shopping and entertainment complex between the cities of Makhachkala and Kaspiysk. The parties confirmed their interest in further expansion of cooperation.
