Dagestan to host "Days of White Cranes" festival again

The 39th prestigious international festival «Days of the White Cranes» will be held in the Republic of Dagestan on September 6 - 10. This annual event coincides with the National Day of Languages of the Peoples of Russia, established by the President V. Putin in honour of the renowned poet Rasul Gamzatov.
The program of the festival features a wide variety of cultural events, including literary debates, poetry recitals, commemorative gatherings and artistic performances. These events will take place in several cities throughout Dagestan.
The event is anticipated to attract over 20 notable literary figures, including writers, poets, literary critics, and representatives from various regional writers' associations across Russia, such as Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Donetsk People's Republic, Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Chuvashia, and the North Caucasian Federal District. Additionally, international guests from Palestine and Azerbaijan will participate in the event.
