By the end of 2024, approximately 40 power transformers will be replaced in Dagestan to improve the reliability of electricity supply during peak load seasons.

In order to enhance the reliability of the electricity grid in the Republic of Dagestan during the summer and winter peaks and to prevent the risk of power outages for consumers, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation plans to install and replace 38 transformers in 2024, increasing capacity by 300 MVA.

On Thursday, Russian Energy Minister Sergey Tsivilev visited Dagestan with a working visit and held a meeting with the regional head Sergei Melikov to discuss most pressing issues on this topic.
