A meeting between the prime minister of the Republic of Dagestan Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov and the governor of Kherson Oblast Vladimir Saldo, took place on June 7th, the third day of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). Vladimir Saldo visited the colorful exhibition stand of Dagestan and praised its distinctive style and variety of topics covered, ranging from ecology to family traditions.

During the meeting, Abdulmuslimov delivered a greeting message from Sergei Melikov (Head of the Republic of Dagestan) to Vladimir Saldo and assured him of region's willingness to cooperate in all aspects of socio-economic development. Abdulmuslimov also noted that representatives from the Kherson region had participated in the All-Russian exhibition of purebred sheep and goats held in May in Dagestan.

Dagestan is ready to share its experience in the development of agriculture and supply agricultural products to the region. Furthermore, initiatives for mutual cooperation in various fields, such as industry, culture, and sports have been voiced.
