The Minister of Digital Development of Dagestan Yuri Gamzatov has positively assessed the current state of the IT industry in the region. Gamzatov noted that the creation of an IT cluster in the region will contribute to the further development of this sector, the improvement of infrastructure, the creation of favorable working and living conditions for specialists, the exchange of knowledge and experience and the support of business start-ups.

The project was presented at the Caspian International Digital Forum in November 2023 and received positive feedback. It is expected to be financed by investors. Gamzatov believes that the creation of such a cluster in Dagestan will attract specialists and contribute to the development of the IT sphere in Russia and the region.
