Abdusamad Gamidov inspects construction progress at Marabi plant site

Makhachkala, March 18, 2015. On March 17, Dagestan Prime Minister Abdussamad Gamidov inspected construction progress at Marabi plant site in Kumtorkalinsky district of the republic.
Let’s remind that the project, launched in April 2013, is designed to produce floor tiles and porcelain tiles. The plant process - from preparation of raw materials to products packaging - will be automated. The ceramic tiles will be fabricated with using Italian pigment and porcelain enamel that provides high consumer characteristics and the best price-quality ratio.
Upon his arrival, the Prime Minister held a meeting during which the parties discussed issues related to the plant construction, as well as the ways to further support for the implementation of this investment project. Besides, Abdusamad Gamidov reviewed the premises and got familiarized with the technique production.
In an interview with journalists, the Prime Minister, in particular, said that the construction was carried out within the priority development project RD "New Industrialization".
"Today, experts from Italy carry out the installation of new equipment. The pre-commissioning activities will be held within the next month. There are some incomplete treatment with the water, gas and sewage treatment plants, but they will be solved. The plant construction is going according to plan. As project managers confirmed, the plan will be launched in the end of May this year ", - Abdussamad Gamidov assured.
For his part, Frederick George, the leading process engineer of Marabi plant noted that the equipment was one of the most advanced, as in Italy and around the world:
"Using this equipment we are able to make high quality products, with an interesting design. The project capacity of manufactory totals 6,000 square meters of tiles a day. "
