The prime minister of the Republic of Dagestan Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov and the governor of Leningrad Region Alexander Drozdenko signed a cooperation agreement between the regions at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2024). The document provides for cooperation in the agricultural, industrial, tourism and socio-cultural sectors.

The governor of Leningrad Region pointed out that Dagestan is a region with great potential, as evidenced by the increasing number of tourists visiting the republic. In turn, Abdulmuslimov noted republic’s leading positions in the country in terms of rice production, grape growing and cognac production.
