Several foreign business missions are expected to visit Dagestan by the end of 2024. As to Ruslan Abaskuliev, advisor to the Head of the Republic of Dagestan and director of the regional Export Support Centre, business representatives from Algeria, Belarus and Kazakhstan are expected to visit the republic.

“We also intend to organize negotiations among Dagestan businessmen and potential partners from the Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates as part of foreign business missions"- Abaskuliev said, recalling that delegates from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia visited the republic in October and signed a number of significant agreements on cooperation and the supply of greenhouses and Dagestan grape juice.

According to Abaskuliev, the volume of exports supported by small and medium-sized businesses amounted to $3.5 million in the first three quarters of 2024.
