More than RUB 5 billion have been allocated for the construction, reconstruction and repair of road infrastructure in the mountainous regions of Dagestan in 2024, the regional Minister of Transport and Road Infrastructure Dzhambulat Salavov says. The works are scheduled to be carried out at 65 different sites, spanning a total distance of 200 kilometers. For 2025, an even more substantial allocation of over RUB 7.3 billion is projected, allowing for the rehabilitation of 61 facilities spanning a distance of 185.6 kilometers.
