The XXI Congress of the United Russia political party has started in Moscow. More than 1000 delegates from all over the country are taking part in the event. According to Indira Dzhabrailova, the press secretary of the regional executive committee of the United Russia, the Republic of Dagestan is represented by the head of the region, the Secretary of the regional branch of the party, the member of the General Council of the party Sergei Melikov and 12 delegates elected at the regional conference.

Among them are deputies of the People's Assembly of the Republic of Dagestan, the heads of municipal districts and secretaries of rural branches of the party. At the congress, the party will decide to support Vladimir Putin's candidacy for the presidential election and conduct a personnel rotation of the governing bodies.

It should be noted that the current congress of United Russia is the first after the start of the special military operation and records the changes that have taken place in the country over two years. The results of the party's work over the past two years will be summarized by Party Chairman Dmitry Medvedev.

Recall, since February 2022, the "United Russia" has deployed a large-scale humanitarian mission in the special operation zone, is actively involved in reforming legislation for the tasks of the SMO and is doing a lot of work to support the families of participants of the SMO in the regions.
