A high-level Belarusian delegation, led by Inessa Korotkevich, Chairman of the Belkoopsoyuz, is currently on an official visit to the Republic of Dagestan. The delegation was cordially welcomed at Makhachkala airport by prominent Dagestani officials, including Deputy Chairman Rizvan Gazimagomedov and Minister of Economy and Territorial Development Gadzhi Sultanov.

This visit, scheduled to conclude on July 17th, aims to foster direct relationships with Dagestani counterparts, assess the republic's investment opportunities and identify potential areas for collaborative projects.  The delegation has a comprehensive itinerary that includes meetings with key figures in Dagestani government, such as Chairman Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, discussions with ministerial heads, cultural excursions to Derbent and visits to regional industrial facilities.

A significant upcoming event is the third meeting of the Bilateral Commission, responsible for coordinating cooperation between Dagestan and Belarus. This visit, in response to a February delegation from Dagestan in Belarus led by Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, seeks to further strengthen bilateral relations.

As part of a reciprocal initiative, business meetings are scheduled between companies from both regions with a focus on key sectors including industry, agriculture, transportation and construction.
