Presentation of Caucasus Investment Forum takes place in Foreign Affairs Ministry

The presentation of the Caucasus Investment Forum as a platform for international cooperation in investment and intercultural communications has taken place in the Foreign Affairs Ministry of the Russian Federation.
The Ministry hosted a briefing attended by heads and representatives of diplomatic missions of foreign countries in the Russian Federation, including those from the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Iraq, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, the UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and others.
“Today, we are witnessing a fundamental and irreversible transformation of the global economy. This necessitates our countries' flexible adaptation to ongoing changes and active development of alternative mechanisms for international cooperation. Russian regions within the North Caucasian Federal District are playing a significant role in the reconfiguration of our foreign economic ties. The country's leadership is paying special attention to their development” - Dmitry Borichevsky, director of the Economic Cooperation Department of the Foreign Affairs Ministry said.
Sergey Nazarov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, stated that the Caucasus Investment Forum would provide an opportunity to strengthen cooperation with international partners and attract new partners for the implementation of joint projects.
The forum is organized by the RosCongress Foundation. The primary objective of the event is to establish the Caucasus Investment Forum as a platform for productive engagement between the government and business and to promote the investment potential of Russian regions. The Caucasus Investment Forum will take place in Grozny on July 15 - 17. Leading experts in various fields, opinion leaders, entrepreneurs and the representatives from foreign nations will attend the event. Discussions will focus on such topics as entrepreneurship, the agro-industrial sector, transportation infrastructure, industry, energy, the banking sector, international cooperation, healthcare and humanitarian aid.
