According to information from the regional Ministry of Finance, in the first half of 2024, the republican budget revenues reached RUB 87 billion with expenditures totaling RUB 81.7 billion.  Thus, the surplus amounted to just over RUB 5 billion.

Of the total revenues, tax and non-tax revenues make over 20.8 billion rubles, including taxes:

on profits and income - over RUB 10 billion;
on goods, works and services - RUB 5.2 billion;
on the income of individuals RUB 7.4 billion (including RUB 343 million from foreign workers);
property taxes - RUB 2.8 billion.

The residents of Dagestan also paid more than RUB 830 million of transport taxes.
