On September 11 Makhachkala hosted an official opening of the forum "Economy of Dagestan: Potential and vector of development". The event coincides with the 100th anniversary of the State Planning Commission, the first economic state body of the republic and the International Business Day.

Various thematic discussions are planned during the event. The main part of the Forum will consist of speeches and presentations by the Head of the Republic and top federal officials, as well as a ceremonial awarding of state prizes. Foreign representatives and participants from the constituent territories of the Russian Federation will also attend the forum. Veteran economic service personnel from Dagestan will be honored guests. Additionally, an exhibition will be held as part of the program to complement the main events of the forum.
