The Senezh Management Workshop has launched Russia's first training program for media managers. The event is attended by 60 media managers from 41 regions, including heads of new and traditional media, editors-in-chief, owners of major channels and publishers. The professionals manage teams of more than 2,000 people and have a total audience on social networks (excluding the media audience) of more than 25 million.
The training is aimed at an in-depth study of the principles of effective media and mass media management. The first module of the program is devoted to the topic of Russia's cultural sovereignty. Speakers at the program include media and mass media executives, influential public and political figures, and leaders of the creative industries.
Dagestani journalists Makhach Gitinomagomedov, director of RIA Dagestan and Israfil Israfilov, the deputy editor-in-chief of Dagestanskaya Pravda weekly take part in the event. The training is part of the Digital Media Workshop project supported by the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives.
