On March 5, the Republic of Dagestan hosted an educational forum for foreign language teachers under the «Youth and Children» national project. The event was dedicated to preparing schoolchildren for the All-Russia Olympiad in foreign languages. Over 470 educators from across the region participated in the forum.

The forum was conducted by three experts in foreign language instruction. They shared with teachers’ methods for developing speaking and writing abilities in preparation for the Olympiad, effective strategies for working with texts and auditory materials and aspects of training students for intellectual contests.

The national project «Youth and Children» is designed to foster the growth of talent and self-actualization among young people. The project is aimed at the development and renovation of educational institutions, the professional enhancement of educators, the creation of innovative teaching methods and the provision of conducive learning environments. Furthermore, the project envisions the expansion of campuses of international caliber and the support of universities participating in the «Priority 2030» program.
