In July 2024, Dagestan branch of the Znanie Society with support of the regional government launched a project aimed at training teachers in the municipalities.
On June 13, at the Boiling Point of Dagestan State University, an intensive training program commenced. Throughout the course, participants engaged in master classes, collaborative group activities and interactions with prominent experts from the North Caucasian region.
The curriculum focused on the fundamental principles of Russian statehood and geopolitical dynamics. For instance, Asker Tumov, a prominent researcher at Kabardino-Balkaria State University named after H. M. Berbekov, delved into the intricate aspects of identity formation at various levels – nationwide, regional and ethnic. Meanwhile, Magomed Magomedov, Head of the Coordination Center at Dagestan State University, explored information warfare as a crucial component of hybrid warfare strategies.
The work of educators in the regional municipalities is closely intertwined with their engagement with young individuals. The presenters showcased contemporary approaches to interacting with students and young learners, highlighting the significance of youth in the Caucasian region and sharing methods for fostering civic engagement.
The program centered on the adaptation to change, leveraging the power of new technologies and honing public speaking abilities. Additionally, the speakers addressed the issue of professional burnout and explored strategies to overcome it.
