2 Olympic champions, 7 world champions to take part in Russian freestyle wrestling championships in Kaspiysk

Makhachkala, May 6, 2015. Two winners of the Olympic Games and seven world champions will take part in the Russian freestyle wrestling championships scheduled to run May 8-10 in Kaspiysk, the press service of the republican ministry of physical culture and sports told RIA Dagestan.
The highlight of the tournament will be the fight of reigning world champion Denis Tsargush and reigning European champion Aniuar Geduev in the 74 kg weight. Another pearl of the evening will be the confrontation between reigning world champion Soslan Ramonov and reigning European champion Magomed Kurbanaliev awaited is the 65 kg weight.
Olympic champion Djamal Otarsultanov and world champion-2013 Bekhan Giygereev are set to return the status of the Russian national team leader in the 61 kg weight snatched fr om them a year ago by Alexander Bogomoev.
Olympic champion-2004, five-time world champion Hadjimurad Gatsalov will try to win his eighth title of the best fighter of the country and the first title in the heavyweight. He became a world champion in the 125 kg weight in 2013. Gatsalov’s major rival here will be European youth champion-2015 Muraddin Kushkhov.
Kaspiysk will also see world champions-2015 Abdussalam Gadisov, Abdul Sadullayev and Hetag Tsabolov, double world champion Viktor Lebedev, and double European champion Anzor Urishev.
The tournament results will select candidates for participation in the first European Games (12-28 June, Baku) and world championships (September 7-12, Las Vegas) wh ere athletes will compete to qualify for the Olympic Games-2016.
