3 Daghestani athletes win world kickboxing championships

Rimini, Italy, September 16 /RIA "Dagestan"/ Daghestani kickboxers won 3 golds and a silver at the world kickboxing championships taking place 6-14 September in Rimini, Italy, their coach Akhmed Akhmedov told RIA "Dagestan".
The tournament brought together a record of 1,500 athletes from 58 countries competing in all kickboxing types. Daghestani athletes represented the Russian team in full-contact.
The result is that Malik Saidov (54 kg weight), Islam Magomedov (57 kg), and Radjabula Akhmedov (63.5 kg) placed first, and Ramadan Murtuzaliev (57 kg) won a silver medal. They are all trainees of the "Matador" sports club of Kizlyar region.
Earlier in the week, the medal winners were solemnly met at the Makhachkala airport. Daghestan minister of physical culture and sports Magomed Magomedov, other officials and other combat sports lovers came here to congratulate the heroes of the day.
