Boxers from the Republic of Dagestan won 12 medals at the All-Russian tournament with international participation in Elista. The event was held among young athletes in two age groups. 126 boxers representing 12 different regions of Russia, as well as Kazakhstan and Tajikistan, competed for the medals. Two boxers from Dagestan managed to claim victory in the tournament: Rakhimzhan Tyulemeshev in the 48 kg category and Abdul Abdulmutalimov in the 52 kg category.
