Daghestani judokas participate in world championships for visually impaired athletes

Colorado Springs, September 5, 2014. Daghestani judokas with the Russian team are starting at the world championships for visually impaired athletes in USA’s Colorado Springs, Chief Expert with the physical education department of Daghestan ministry of sports Dzhamal Omarov told RIA "Dagestan". The tournament is scheduled to run 5-7 September.

They athletes are: bronze medalist of the Paralympic Games-2012 Shakhban Kurbanov (73 kg), Zaur Dzhabrahilov (60 kg), Nukh Salikhov (66 kg), Malik Kurbanov (81 kg), Sahad Abdurakhmanov (81 kg), Abdulla Kuramagomed (100 kg) and Osman Akayev (+100 kg) – 7 in total.
Preparing for the championships, Daghestanis have gone through a 2-week training camp in Sochi.
