The Tamaki Group, a leading provider of Japanese and pan-Asian culinary offerings, is interested in establishing partnerships with rice producers in Dagestan.
According to a statement released by the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture, representatives of the company have held talks with local farmers about exporting high-quality Kizlyar rice. Tamaki, which sells around 8,000 tonnes of rice a year, has a high regard for the distinctive flavour profile of the Dagestani crop.
It is anticipated that the company's delegation's upcoming visit will focus on assessing the production capabilities of Dagestani farms.
