At the forthcoming second international forum titled "Sustainable Development of Mountainous Territories" scheduled to take place in the Republic of Dagestan on October 1-3, 2025, a Memorandum of Cooperation with the BRICS Forum will be formalized.

Gadzhi Sultanov, Head of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Dagestan, will sign the memorandum from part of the region. The agreement aims to utilize the BRICS platform to promote goods manufactured within the republic, with a particular emphasis on expanding the international distribution network for locally produced agricultural products.

Sultanov pointed out the high quality, environmental friendliness and existing global demand for these Dagestani products, indicating their suitability for wider market reach. Currently exported to numerous countries, the memorandum is expected to further facilitate the expansion of this export network.
