At the end of the first quarter of 2024, the volume of agricultural production in Dagestan remained unchanged from the previous year. However, other republics in the North Caucasian Federal District experienced significant growth.

For example, in the Stavropol Krai, the volume of agricultural production in the reporting period totals RUB 29.8 billion, which is a 5% increase compared to the same period of 2023. In Kabardino-Balkaria, the figure makes RUB 7.4 billion with an increase of 3.8% over January-March 2022.

In turn, in Dagestan in January-March this year, agricultural production remained at the level of the same period of 2023 and reached 13.2 billion rubles. In general, the Northern Caucasus produced agricultural products worth 70.3 billion rubles in the first quarter of 2024.
