Dagestan-based footwear company SERG shows interest in localizing footwear production in Uzbekistan. With this aim, Dagestan company will attend an exhibition in Tashkent at the end of May 2024 to hold negotiations with Uzbek business partners.

It should be noted that the SERG shoe factory was opened in Makhachkala in October 2021. The investment volume in the construction of a modern shoe factory for the production of men's and women's leather footwear amounted to RUB 200 million. At full capacity, the factory employs approx.100 workers and produce up to 600,000 pairs of shoes annually.
