The North Caucasus Tourism Forum "Open Dagestan" will take place in Derbent on October 11-13. The event organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and Folk Art of the Republic of Dagestan will be held in the park named after Nizami Ganjavi. The organizer announces extensive business and cultural activities.

"The guests will enjoy a gastronomic festival, a festival of original culture of the peoples of Dagestan, a concert of popular artists of Dagestan and Russian variety, as well as a multimedia show at the site of the largest light and music fountain in Russia" - the Ministry press service reports.

According to the Ministry, the visitors are welcomed at a special exhibition-fair showcasing regional tourism industry and folk crafts within the Forum where they can meet with the representatives of tourism business, municipalities of the Republic and regions of the North Caucasian Federal District.
