For the first half of 2024, passenger traffic at Makhachkala Airport amounted to 1,292,519, an increase of 4.1% compared to last year. For June alone, the number of passengers increased by 12.4%, reaching 327,699. Cargo and mail handling also increased by 36.9%, totaling 380 tons. There were also 2,610 more take-offs and landings compared to the previous year, an increase of 9.9%.
