The jury of the national contest "Book of the Year - 2024" has selected a shortlist of nominees. More than 1,200 books submitted by 135 publishers from 30 Russian cities have been considered. Books were submitted from large and small cities such as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Arkhangelsk, Barnaul, and Ekaterinburg. The contest included 11 categories. The shortlist includes 47 books produced by 39 publishers.

In the "Book of the Year" category, four publishers made it to the final: Kuchkovo Pole (Moscow), Dagestan (Makhachkale), Boslen (Moscow), and Rosspan (Moscow). Dagestan, along with several other leading Russian publishers, has become a finalist in this prestigious contest. The awards ceremony will take place at Moscow International Book Fair on September 5th.
