On December 19, the Republican Library named after Rasul Gamzatov hosted a conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of public and political figure Roza Eldarova. The event was attended by the representatives of state authorities, public organizations, the Council of Elders under the Head of the Republic of Dagestan, the Public Chamber of the Republic of Dagestan and members of Roza Eldarova's family.

Opening the event, the Minister for National Policy and Religious Affairs of the Republic of Dagestan Enrik Muslimov noted that Roza Abdulbasirovna was an outstanding personality, who showed herself not only as a prominent statesman and public figure, but also as a strong and wise woman who contributed much to the history of Dagestan.

"Rosa Eldarova's multifaceted talent, the sense of patriotism and aspiration for the development of national culture made her a bright figure in the political and public arena. Her work and achievements as one of the first Dagestani women in the top leadership of the republic became a vivid and illustrative example for many women not only in our region and the North Caucasus, but throughout the country. Roza Abdubasyrovna's labor and life path was impressive - it is a real devotion to the assigned work, responsibility and professionalism, adherence to high human ideals” – Muslimov said acting with an introductory speech.
