Southern Dagestan hosts conference on spiritual heritage of Hasan-Efendi Alkadarsky

A conference dedicated to the intellectual and spiritual legacy of Hasan-Efendi Alkadarsky, a renowned scholar and religious figure, was held in Suleyman-Stalski municipal district of Dagestan. The event was jointly organized by the Ministry for National Policy and Religious Affairs of the Republic of Dagestan, the local authorities and Hasan Alkadarsky Cultural and Educational Center.
The conference commenced with a visit to Hasan-Efendi Museum located in his birthplace - the village of Alkadar. Following this, the main portion of the event took place at I. G. Tagirov Palace of Culture in Kasumkent, attracting guests from Saudi Arabia, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, as well as the representatives of Alkadar family.
Conference participants presented their papers and discussions on various aspects of Hasan Alkadarsky's life and work, exploring his contributions to the fields of religious scholarship, education, and cultural heritage. The winners of a poetry competition dedicated to Hasan-Efendi Alkadarsky received prizes from the chairman of Dagestan Union of Journalists.
