Dagestan authorities continue work within the framework of the "Education" federal target program. Thanks to funds allocated under the program, 12 schools were opened in the region in 2023. In 2024 it is planned to launch 19 more educational institutions. The largest school (25,000 square meters) built under this project is located in the suburban district Semender. It has two swimming pools and receives 1224 pupils every day. Recall the national project "Education" is launched nationwide in 2019, on the initiative of the Russian President V.Putin.
