This year, Dagestan authorities are set to undertake the ambitious task of renovating 500 kilometers of regional roads and reconstructing 13 bridges. According to the Minister of Transport of the republic Dzhambulat Salatov, a substantial amount of RUB 21.5 billion will be allocated from both federal and regional budgets for this purpose.

Furthermore, as reported by Salatov, RUB 15.9 billion had already been spent in 2024 on developing the transport infrastructure in Dagestan within the framework of the state target program "Development of the Transport Complex of the Republic of Dagestan". This initiative has led to the improvement of over 440 kilometers of roads and the reconstruction of 18 bridges with a total length of 965 meters.
