Dagestan allocates approx. RUB 58 million to develop tourism infrastructure

The Ministry of Tourism, Folk Arts, and Crafts of the Republic of Dagestan continues to pursue its program aimed at fostering local initiatives. Over RUB 58 million rubles have recently been allocated to bolster tourism infrastructure development in the municipalities. Seven local municipalities received grants from the republican budget to execute 11 projects.

The funds were used for

Improvement of roads in the village of Akhty.
Construction of a footpath to the museum and mosque in the village of Kubachi.
Construction of a viewing platform in Kunki village.
Improvement of a viewing platform and a path to the historical monument 'Kala-Koreish'.
Improvement of the territory of Goryachka curative spring in Izberbash.
Improvement of the public territory of the Pud Balakh spring in the village of Orta-Stal.
Improvement of Suleiman Stalsky public garden in Gereykhanovskoye village.
Improvement of the car park in the village of Goor.
Reconstruction of the pedestrian path to the XVII century mosque in the village of Tindi.
Construction of a roadside toilet and improvement of the area around Mochokh Lake.
Construction of a roadside toilet and improvement of the area of the Stone Bowl Natural Monument.

The Local Initiatives Support Program, launched in 2022, is designed to foster the development and enhancement of tourism infrastructure. Its objectives encompass enhancing safety measures along routes, in beach areas, observation platforms and sanitation facilities.
