Dagestan successfully completes rehabilitation of five motorways under national project

The Ministry of Transport and Roads of the Republic of Dagestan has summed up the results of implementation of the national target project "Safe Quality Roads". According to the Ministry, five motorways have been completed under the project.
In particular, repair work was completed on a section of Babayurt - Grebenskaya road (km 0 - km 8), which provide transport links between Babayurtovsky and Khasavyurtovsky municipal districts and have a positive impact on the socio-economic situation in the region.
Besides, a 10-kilometre section of Manas - Sergokala - Pervomayskoye highway in Karabudakhkent municipal district was repaired, providing transport links for several districts and access to the R-217 'Kavkaz' federal highway. The works included strengthening the foundations, installing rainwater drains, replacing culverts and renewing two bridges with a total length of 130 meters.
Another important object was a section of Levashi - Akusha - Urkarakh - Majalis - Mamedkala road (km 0 - km 14), which connects five municipal districts and serves as an alternative route to the tourist village of Kubachi. Work was carried out to rehabilitate the asphalt pavement, reinforce the roadside and the water drainage system.
