The Russia’s government has allocated additional funding in the amount of RUB 630 million to support the restoration of agricultural land across the country. Pursuant to this decision, fifteen constituent entities of the Russian Federation will be provided with subsidies until the end of 2024 to offset a portion of the expenses incurred by agricultural enterprises in the process of land restoration.

These funds will be utilized for implementing hydro melioration, cultural, agroforestry and phyto melioration measures. This initiative aims to augment the agricultural land area, thereby fostering sustainable development in the agro-industrial sector and contributing to the pursuit of food security goals within the Russian Federation.

Earlier, Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, the Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan, announced the allocation of RUB 293 million to the republic for the next year as part of a new national project aimed at training and attracting personnel for the agricultural sector.
