The support will be rendered as part of a new federal initiative titled «Five Seas and Lake Baikal». The funding will be directed towards upgrading transportation infrastructure and communication systems for tourist destinations, as well as enhancing public spaces, designing coastal areas and constructing berthing facilities.

It is worth noting that the Caspian Coast Cluster represents a tourism project encompassing several districts in Dagestan, with the goal of constructing 20 hotels over the course of the next two years. Anticipated to welcome their first visitors in 2027, these developments represent a significant step forward in the development of this region.
