The terms of privatization of the JSC "Makhachkala Commercial Sea Port" in Dagestan have been postponed due to the need to conduct an inventory of its property, the Head of the republic Sergei Melikov said.

“There is no trick here. The postponement is related to technical circumstances. Before privatization, we need to conduct an inventory. Any investor wants to know what he gets. There are some procedural issues when it is necessary to check certain objects on the port territory to see if they belong to private individuals, companies, so that they can be inventoried, the price can be determined and then included into the privatization form. We would like the privatization package to be of high quality and allow the port to develop dynamically in the future”.
