The delegation of the Republic of Dagestan headed by Government official Makhach Omarov participates in the II All-Russian Municipal Forum "Small Homeland - the Power of Russia". The delegation representing Dagestan consists of 60 individuals: heads of the republican municipalities (districts, towns and villages), employees of the Office of the Head and Government of the Republic of Dagestan, as well as Amir Khiriyasulaev, a computer science teacher from Khasavyurtovsky district, a finalist in the "Service" Award.

The All-Russia Municipal Forum "Small Homeland - the Power of Russia" is an annual event aimed at bringing together local government leaders, representatives of the business community, public organizations and the expert community. More than 20 panel discussions, sessions and expert dialogues are planned to take place during the event.

The Forum will also include the All-Russia Municipal Investment Forum, the Heart of the Motherland Cultural Festival and the Service Award Ceremony. The event is organized by the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government. Last year the forum was attended by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
